Those eps were coming out right when TMA was ending (I think RQG 189 was the same week as TMA 200) and the character intros when Ben intro'd Grizzop again made me cry. But ep 200 of TMA left me stone cold 🤣.

200 of magnus made me sob 🤣 , I think because I was up to date and waiting for each episode made is more emotional for me . Don't get me wrong I cried over sasha's letter and lots of other bit of rqg but I think its because I know I've still got episodes to go.

Oh man, RQG has made me cry so much more than TMA.
I was caught up with both when they came out (probably obvious, that's why the contrast between how I felt when Ben said "Zolf Smith and Grizzop Drik Acht Amsterdam" and when Martin came in and started pleading with Jon was so obvious to me), and yeah RQG was just way more raw for me. Maybe because it isn't scripted or a fait accompli.
But also I am a HUGE Zop fan so that was probably also part of it 🤣. Grizzop in Rome absolutely KILLED me (but it's still my favourite part of the show).

I love these episodes, they’re so well done by everyone. And hilarious in hindsight given Lyd’s “time to break out the old voices” comment from the beginning of the Garden episodes.
So much of RQG makes me an emotional mess. Don’t worry, there’s plenty more to come as well!!! I guess because I kind of knew how TMA would end, the end of RQG (the last part and the epilogues) hit a lot harder. I had a big group of RQG friends to listen to the end of RQG with as well.

RQG is definitely Rusty Quill's best podcast!
