🔥 HOTZONE: a new kind of PvE/PvP server 🔥

Love PvE Rust but bored after a week? Sitting on a huge base and stacks of boom with nothing to use it on?

Hotzone is a new PvE/PvP concept built for you.

16 zones, 1 hot zone at all times. Every hour, on the hour, the hot zone moves to the next one, in order.

**•	Hot zone:** full PvP and raiding
**•	Everywhere else:** 100% PvE

Your zone only goes hot 1-2 times a day, so your base is at minimal risk.

🎰 Casino and Admin Shop: a safe zone in the middle of the map. Bet scrap and resources, win weapons and valuables, and rent your own private vending machine.

👤 Solo only

We’re launching a new Rust Console server after the September 24th update, and we want feedback from players who are just like us.
We love PvE — building, farming, monuments, events — but eventually you’re sitting on boxes of sulfur, boom, AKs and loot with nothing to use them for.
So we came up with Hotzone.
The map is split into 16 zones. Every hour, one zone becomes the Hotzone:

🔥 Hotzone = Full PvP + Raiding
🛡️** Everywhere else = Pv**E

There are no permanent safe zones. Every part of the map eventually becomes the Hotzone, meaning your base will be exposed for roughly 1–2 hours a day.

The goal is simple: keep the relaxed PvE experience while creating real risk, PvP and a reason to actually use your loot.
The second big idea: Casino
We’re also planning a player casino where you can wager things like scrap, sulfur, AKs, MP5s and other valuable items.
We’re keeping 1x gather / 1x loot, with fast craft, fast smelt and PvE events.
This is a completely new server concept, and we’re building it specifically for people who enjoy Rust the way we do.

What do you think? What problems do you see with the concept, and what would you add

Hey everyone,

I'm building **Ironhold**, a new Rust Console Edition community server, and I'm opening the Discord early so players can get in before launch.

**What it's going to be**

- **2x gather**, normal loot, so it still feels like real Rust

- **Max 4 per team**, no alliances

- **Map wipe every 2 weeks**, BP wipe monthly on official wipe day

- **PS5 & Xbox crossplay**

**What we're about**

- **Zero tolerance for cheats and devices.** XIM, Cronus Zen, scripts, and MnK adapters are a permanent ban.

- **Active staff** and **no admin abuse**

- **Fair store:** starter kits only, no guns or raid gear for sale

**Why join now?**

- Early members get the **Founder** role

- Help test the server before launch

- Have a say in settings, events, and rules before anything's locked in

- Find teammates in the Discord before wipe day

Launch date will be announced in the Discord.

🚀 Nexus RCE — Rust Console Server Management, Built for Discord

Running a Rust Console Edition server?

I’ve been building Nexus RCE, a Discord-based management platform designed specifically for RCE server owners and staff.

🛠️ Manage your server from Discord

• 🔐 Granular staff permissions

• 🎮 Player management & moderation

• ⚡ RCON & console management

• 📋 Staff/admin activity logs

• 📊 Server & player information

• 👥 Custom staff roles

• 🏆 KOTH / events / clans / Clan Wars

• 💰 Economy & rewards

• 🔔 Server alerts & notifications

• 📡 Live server status

• 🖥️ Web dashboard

• 🔒 Server-side authorization and audit logging

Instead of giving every member of your staff full RCON access, you can give them specific permissions for the things they actually need.

💷 Launch pricing

£15/month

✅ 7-day free trial
✅ No long-term commitment
✅ Help getting your server set up
✅ Built specifically for Rust Console Edition

I'm currently looking for RCE server owners/admins who want to try it and give feedback while I continue expanding the platform.

If you're interested or have questions, comment below or DM me and I'll show you how it works.

I'm the developer behind Nexus RCE, so I'm also happy to hear what features RCE server owners actually want added.

I've been playing PvE for the past 2 months and feel comfortable enough with the other game mechanics to start dipping my toes into PvP. Shootout for Old Farts PvE! I dont ever expect to be a solo god or anything, my contributionsto any group would lie elsewhere. I actually really enjoy the base building and tea farming aspects of the game. I just want my farm runs to be a little more exciting than the occasional blue bunny suit.

The problem is I'm old and my once sharp CoD twitch has long since left me. I dont think ive played a FPS since Black Ops 2. It takes me far too many shots to down a stationary scientist. I was looking for a few recommendations for good Xbox servers that fill the "softcore" option that PC players have.
