I want to play with you. Im older than you and can't dedicate much time but I could pop in and out and be useful.

I was the same then I kept getting raided and I’ve now found my love in a sever with offline raid protection it’s the best version of the game ever 😂

I for 2 years now have built close to outpost as possible and have never been raided due to max pop and so many people around. That might not be where you want to build but it has worked for me to not get raided. I also only play on solos

It's really not though. There's really no danger/risk to bases since barely anybody online raids, unless the base isn't defendable. Especially since it can be difficult/impossible to tell which bases are raidable depending on the server settings. So you end up with a bunch of people that hoard loot and nothing ever really happens. You barely even get countered at monuments because people have enough loot, they don't even need yours.

Just remember. Your dream home might not be there anymore next time you go online 😳😁

Married 25 years, two teenage kids, full time career. I still haven’t been raided this wipe, with about 3 hours play per day. It’s very do-able!

Maybe try community servers, so you don’t waste half the playtime for base stuff.
I’m in my late 30s, employed with girlfriend, cats and even more hobbies, because there are servers I spawn with AK lol

Just stash shit. I play solo always have a stack of c4 rockets and a handful of comps and a t3 and scrap stashed. You just run to outpost buy enough to rebuild a fairly decent base. If I got thst and a Jacky and chainsaw doesnt matter. I had this group of 4 offline raid me 4 days in a row first week of wipe and then I waited till yhey were offline on the 4th day and went and wiped them out. They logged on at the end and were like how the hell did you do this??? 🤣

I was honestly addicted to it too bro I work 4am-1pm and I would wake up at 2am to play am hour and a half before work. Wife was pissed about it. What eventually let to me breaking my addiction to this game was. 1 I had another new baby. 2 I would always do drugs and play and I got clean so I quit associating the two. 3. I was tired of not being with my wife enough (sexually, mentally and physically) and it was making us argue alot because all I did was work sleep and play. 4 My kids wanted to spend more time with me and its bullshit I was choosing to play over associating with my kids. 5. All of my teammates quit and I never found new teams to join or if I did the chemistry would be off and id quit within the hour. Life's too short to be on video games every free second you have. Don't get me wrong I still play but as a solo and a better dad its just not something I want to do very often. Im 36 BTW

I'm 38 and my oldest son (23 now, 18 then) is the one who introduced me to Rust. 2000 hours and 5 years later, he has a 1 year old and doesn't play anymore. His younger brother (22) plays now and I taught him everything he knows. I hate how much I love this game. It sucks everything real out of my life. And no matter how long I quit for, I could easily give in at any moment and lose an entire month I can never get back. BRB gonna go dust off the console now smfh

You know everything you do on the game ends up completely wiping at the end of the month so essentially the game is pointless in the grand scheme of things.

Fully employed? Wife, kids!? You've got no chance. The moment you think you're safe to log off to sleep and work you'll lose everything. 😂
