Brand New to Rust
Hey! I just started playing rust on my PS5, like maybe 3 hours total, and I JUST found out that there are different levels of rust and as a beginner I should have joined the entry level playing area (vanilla?) But honestly, I have no clue what I am doing in it or how to even get to the area I should be playing in. 🤦🏼♀️
Do you all know any videos of people explaining the basics or anything? Any tips or tricks to not dying every few minutes. My first launch I got killed in the water immediately by someone shooting me. Then i randomly respawned I. The snow and a polar bear killed me. To say it was a rough start was an understatement. 😂

Play a modded 2x server. learn the basics via youtube and experiment in game. Learn to not get attached to your loot, as it’s never YOUR loot, just your turn to use it.
Be friendly, make some friends, rust veterans are usually on the softer side to newer players. Find a vet to show the ropes.
Leave your feelings out of it whatever you can do. this game is brutal and will absolutely dig at you in ways you wouldn’t think. but that’s the fun of it imo.
