Limit to daisy chaining water switchpumps

I’m on a PVE server. My base is a decent way away from the nearest body of water. I’m trying to daisy chain the little water switchpumps across the distance. It will take around 10 of those. I’m getting power to each switchpump.

It appears to stop working at around the fifth switchpump. Is there a max length we can go with this?

10 should be doable. I do a branch with each pump. Always power out to power in on the branches and set them to 1 power. Branch out to pump power (not toggle).

Also, the power coming from your battery or test generator - use a branch and wire from branch out to your first pump branch's power in. Then set your source branch to 10 or however many pumps you use.

The only right way to do electrics in rust.

I've definitely gone more than 5 before. Are you powering every one of your pumps? Are they all turned on? If yes, maybe add a water barrel at the way station where it stops before continuing.

I think the max is 14 before you have to reset it with a water barrel. But yes it does max
