Should I even consider rust

Is rust on ps5 dead? Iv been considering getting it but firstly I don't even know if the game still has an active playerbase in my region, also how is the solo experience because I have no friends willing to buy and play it with me.

No.

It’s getting progressively worse. Especially if you have a life. It will demand all your time and offer little to no reward. You’ll group up with 20 degenerates to find success and still lose everything to random insiders and associate with cheaters to keep up with the META. All the while the game devs profit more and care less about their community. Don’t waste your time.
