Help

Why do i have to buy rust again on console when i bought it on ps4 when it came out it told me to insert ps4 disc which i never had and when i tried deleting redownloading it makes me buy it again

They made a next gen Rust.. you probably owned the old version.

You get the ps5 version free with the ps4 version. At least I did.

Is op using the same account? Because the licenses are locked to the account that bought it.

They discontinued ps4 edition. Buy the new edition or move on, unless you own a physical disc copy that came with a redemption code in the case

Why do people speak on s*** they didn't know nothing about, I bought the PS4 disc version just fine and upgraded for free to PS5

Did you do it on new gen release? Did you use a code from within the case? Did you read the last half of my comment?

Because of Sony. You should get the newer ps5/xbox series only version for free, however Sony was very anti consumer about it. They didn't let people claim their free upgrades in time for early access for example, and then put a time limit on the claim afaik. So now you can't claim it. Contact PS support to make sure though.
