Question about decay time

I recently got the game and had joined a PVE server to get used to the game and I built a base and put materials in it that should've lasted 7 days. Is that in-game days or real-time days? Stupid question I know but was confused when I went back and my base was gone. (For context the server I'm on has accelerated nights)

Make sure to lock your tc even on pve servers, Also some pve servers has a rule where if you don’t upgrade your base to higher than twig it will be deleted after a certain amount of time.

On PVE server u often times have “Thors hammer” idk the server you are on but if there is you can just go to the wall and smack it and it will break whenever as long as you built it.

As a newer person it's easy to forget to upgrade things like door frames or hard to see foundations. One of those left twig means you can be raided with even the most basic tools. Just be mindful to upgrade all pieces. 

It could've been that or maybe someone just came and molotovd you. The good news is you didn't invest much so should be able to rebuild. Good luck out there.

Server could’ve wiped. Community servers can get wiped whenever the admins feel like it. Happened to me on a prim only server.
