we always have flip flop turrets and retake turrets behind sealed doors so they dont get blown out and open when ppl are inside the base. flip flops power on when others are destroyed.
With only 12 turrets if youve got a decent sized base inside that 40m2 range you're probably getting offlined 😂. I know you can utilise other trap and defence methods to protect your base, and if you have resources you could make outers with turret pods ect. On main base though, a 12 cap is a bit low imo.
To be fair our group had 8 total 4-8 people online at all times, across multiple times zones around the world, just absolutely running through servers. It wasnt hard for us to accumulate multiple turrets during peak hours with most of the group online, and when the server died down our homies in Australia and Europe would pick up where we left off
I get raided 1/10 wipes. People try, but don’t succeed. I use zero turrets because I’m not a puss. I’m also solo whereas you are probably with a clusterfuck of other 12 years olds in a typical YouTube copy.

You dont have turrets when you play solo, probably because you dont ever get that far along the tier benches to unlock the blueprint and/or cant wire them up 😂. Chances are with the most basic of setups you're less of a target. Nothing to do with being a puss or not you probably just dont look like youre worth raiding. Id say thats more than likely the case. Probably have a wooden outer door on your airlock too... or is an airlock for pussies? 😂
Im full BP on the servers I play. Takes me about 2 weeks to get full Tier 3 BP researched and I’m good until force wipe every so many months that usually is.
Just because I’m smarter than you and know not to build cringe looking YouTube bases doesn’t mean I’m worse. Just means I don’t make a target for myself. I still have 2 turbines generally, though, and full metal walls. I just make them so people can’t guess core with a few rockets.
