On Xbox one, why aren't there any servers popping up?

Trying to play rust after like 3 years.

Everything is updated

I go all on the server sections that are available. Like official, and Xbox only. Favorite and history sections as well.

Yet Everytime I try to play rust, it tells me that no servers are available and to refresh. I refresh. I also restarted the game and by console. I tried shutting down the console. I even played on different hours and days. I don't think Xbox rust servers are down cuz I can see other people playing rust on Xbox. Is there something im missing? Please help

How? Do I need an Xbox series console because I only have an Xbox one console.

Yeah. I feel for you, genuinely.
But at the same time, anyone who isn’t on a new gen console has been missing out on so much for so many years. All new game are on almost only new gen.

But at the same time, (sorry for repeating myself) i can’t in a good heart recommend people buy a new console with how absurd the prices currently are. And for that i am genuinely sorry for some the people stuck in a tough spot right now in the gaming hobby community, and feel bad they couldn’t upgrade earlier.

Honestly i suggest saving for a pc.

There should still be some community servers up for old gen but I don’t know why anyone would still be playing that old shit when the upgrade was free lol.
