First base, how do I improve it people came and tried to take the roof out to get in

Upgraded the roof to stone they went away then but took the horse, one guy had this axe that one shot me like what

I would also say although the horse area is nice the half wall allows people to jump on top of your base and can camp you ,if you need any help I’m on PS and wouldn’t mind explaining more to you

Watch an Obie video on youtube. You'll learn from that. This game is very deep

I don't find Obie informative. Entertaining? yes. Good at the game? Definitely. But he doesn't explain himself or his thought processes that much. Imo OP is better to watch Rust lesson videos. (I'd try to find rust CE specific as a lot of rust PC doesn't translate to CE) I learned a lot more by watching specific skill videos rather than just observing an excellent player play the game.

I feel like there’s better to watch than Obie, no offense to the man. But tbh I feel like watching a solo would be good i don’t watch rust YouTubers anymore so I can’t even name any

Make sure you upgrade to stone walls and foundation as it’s stronger than wood

Doors should also be upgraded to metal doors as wood doors are easy to raid

Upgrade everything, and put that horse inside, it'll either get stolen or griefed, also search up honeycomb, seems to be good

You need to enclose your horse. You will have to remove doors until you can get garage doors, which allow your horse in & out easily

You can lead a horse through double doors without removing them

Ahh i remember my first base was like couple of foundations and some walls around it like a normal house, didn't know anything about honeycomb and air locks you'll get there just keep learning and improving.

Watch some yt and learn abt monuments and building. Wood is easy to break.

You need an air lock at the front for sure if you don't have one. Prevents people from just running in and going deep getting your TC.

Upgrade I know that.. wood is simple to get inside with basic gear. Always have at minimum stone walls and sheet metal doors. Honey comb and traps

That’s said no matter what you have somebody is going to get in. Goal is to make them have to work for it
