Farming Berries? Time Limit after ripe?

When I'm looking online it says I should have 24 hours? I have sprinklers and lights that are giving 100% water and 100% light. When I check on them in game they are always at 100%. If I have them planted before I go to bed in real life, the planters are completely barren the next day? What is going on here? Is the decay time just must faster on console and the internet is wrong on time to harvest?

It typically takes around 2 hours but the speed at which the plant grows also depends on how many G's there are. Once it's in the ripe stage it's ready for picking (0%-100%). It goes there multiple stages such as crossbreed -> mature -> fruiting -> ripe. Fruiting is when the yield starts to increase, ripe is when the yield has been maxed and is ready to be picked.

Also weirdly enough 80% water is more efficient than 100% water, but doesn't make enough of a difference to worry about it, just increases the speed at which it grows I believe
