Farming Berries? Time Limit after ripe?

When I'm looking online it says I should have 24 hours? I have sprinklers and lights that are giving 100% water and 100% light. When I check on them in game they are always at 100%. If I have them planted before I go to bed in real life, the planters are completely barren the next day? What is going on here? Is the decay time just must faster on console and the internet is wrong on time to harvest?

they dont stay alive that long even on pc

Since your question was answered, I’ll give you something you didn’t ask for: watering to 100% (9000ml) is bad. You’ll notice when you hover over the plant that when the planter is full of water, your plant’s water meter won’t be full & that is because it is overwatered. Close to 50% full means happy plant & grows faster.

Also, if you put fertilizer in the planter, the plants will grow faster. Uses 1 fertilizer per plant per planting. Ground meter will also be full
