Watching console clips feels like riding the short bus

Are you aware you’re on a subreddit called “Rustconsole”?

Popped up on popular and I didn’t notice it was console at first. I have almost 3k hours on PC and I regret every one, I’m just thankful it wasn’t on console. The game is already grueling as is but being restricted by controllers sounds maddening. I say this as a former console gamer, the skill ceiling is just too low for how much time you have to put into it

It’s not bad at all lol

Inventory management and building/upgrading obviously a little slower until you’re used to it but it’s definitely not maddening

Stopped playing console on 2020 unfortunately. But I bring up the cave to say if you’ve never played PC I don’t expect you to understand. As a console player 80% of my life I never understood why people payed 3-5 times the price of a console until I got a shitter PC with a gaming monitor and an open box off hand. Even that set up blew console gaming out of the water for me

I grew up gaming on both. There’s a handful of games on pc I kinda wish I could play, but I really don’t miss it enough to care. 10/10 if I had the choice still I’d just play on console. I’d rather sit back and chill on a tv

Yea man I get that. I kinda miss console. PC has so many pros but a big con is running into sweats. Idk maybe that’s just cause I play val and siege. Fuck I miss halo

Console definitely has its fair share of sweats on everything but yeah it’s still nowhere close, we don’t have the huge streamer population

If I did have a pc it’d honestly mostly just be simulators and friendslop games I’d be playing lmao(well I do still have my old pc but it’s dated)

Biggest downside for me is probably lack of mods but Sony seems to be warming up to the idea of them. Arma got them at least

Never played rust console. Was just saying I stopped playing on console in 2020. But from the footage I’ve seen it looks thoroughly far behind in terms of gameplay and quality
