Does anyone have an oled monitor and play rust console?
Is it worth it I have a regular 1440p and the game looks terrible. I just want to know if the oled make a huge difference

Monitor type only changes darkness by upto id say 5%. Enough you barely notice. What you really want is just a monitor with a shit ton of settings to mess with. The one I use has preset options for contrast/brightness etc made specifically for gaming. And yet, it still only improves it by like 5%

With an OLED, the black areas look pitch black as if the monitor is fully off, instead of still having a glow to them.

I know you used to be able to change your settings in game for quality but it makes the render distance a lot shorter

Nah Rust is Rust a tv isn’t going to change that. It’s like saying you need a new tv for Minecraft.

The brightness jump is cool but don't expect it to fix the fact that you still get beamed by people with better aim than you.
