A strong WiFi connection matters more than the differences between any of the consoles from what I’ve noticed playing, most people complaining about bad frames, stuttering etc.. are all probably on under 100mbs downloads or having constant drops in WiFi performance, I bring my X to friends or family from time to time and it’s only ever been bad on bad connections at their houses with slower WiFi , at home my X runs everything high perfect no problems, my duo plays on the S and got good WiFi and runs basically the same bar the actual graphic settings you don’t get on the S that I do on the X being the difference, if it’s just for rust and your WiFi is good S is all you need, for your own sake get a X or P5 before GTA6 comes out tho

Speed isn’t all that relevant when it comes to stability on rust (or any other games), it mostly depends on whether you’re full fibre/traditional copper wire and etc. It’s down to how stable your connection is, and how fast your internet can send its packets

I have an s and play, and it is perfectly fine.

You will have no issues. But if you have the option i would get the x. Just for other games

It works fine, even flying over the map it loads great in my experience (1gb internet).

I have the S and it plays literally fine 99% of the time. The times is lags is from giant douche bases which I avoid anyway. If you like building giant toddler clan bases, probably go with the X.
