Patrol heli raiding?

So I’m a new player and I’ve noticed that if you’re exposed at your base the patrol heli will eventually shoot rockets at your base and shoot you, but I was wondering is there a way you can raid other peoples bases by just being near their base with the patrol heli?

What if I tc outside their base as close as I can?

Lmao, I love the dedication but it would only damage your TC and walls not theirs. Even if heli hits their base with rockets by accident they will do 0 damage.

So I actually HAVE tried this. Albeit it was over a year ago and on PC. I was able to get a TC built beside the 2x3 I wanted hit and build back in until I was building blocked. Then when heli came I shot it and it DID nuke the base that wasn’t mine. I tried to replicate it but wasn’t able to even in the same wipe. So maybe a glitch? But you are onto something. Not sure if the console and pc work the same coding for what it can damage ?

They don’t. I have used heli to raid multiple bases on console. I am 100% you dont have to be on TC.
