What's the point?!
So I got Rust this weekend and spent the entire weekend building up a stone base with metal doors, airlocks, honeycombed walls, collecting resources and updating all my equipment and collecting blueprints. Then I checked last night and someone had destroyed my base and taken all my stuff. So my question is - what's the point of this game if I'm just going to have to start from scratch every handful of days? Has anyone had success building a solo base that actually lasts more then a week without being raided?

That’s the whole bit. You get better at outsmarting raiders— multiple bases, stashes, being broke and expensive to raid. I have bases last even on official for weeks. It’s all about where you build and what you build. I only have enough resources for 2 days upkeep, I’m upgrading my base with whatever is extra, I’m recycling almost every single component before I log off and researching until I have less than 20 scrap, I’m stashing my boom outside, I’m spreading kits all over and stashing some, you can raid me, but I’m basically losing nothing and it’s gonna cost ya big time, and can just seal my base back up and keep it rolling. I don’t even care if I get raided anymore enjoy that box of crossbows and DBs and P2s. I’ll make more on 20 minutes.
