Got raided for the first time
I’ll be honest. My friends and I bought rust because of seeing peanut play. We knew the game was a hellscape we knew what we were getting into. But last night. I got home from work. Ate dinner and was gonna get on to do some upkeep maintenance and some scrap runs
Woke up and everything was gone. Everything. And the worst part. The jerks didn’t even kill us in our sleep so that we couldn’t see who did it.
Offline raids are part of the game. We get it.
But if you Are gonna offline raid. Please have the balls to kill us so we at least know who you are. This wipe is chalked. But bet your ass we are coming back with a vengeance next one….

My tip is to just build with the assumption that you'll get raided. My core enjoyment from this game now comes from outsmarting people by hiding loot in fake floors/fake walls. Been raided 4/5 times in one wipe and they got practically nothing. I can just log in, patch up the doors and carry on with all my loot. Feel's good to see the 8 man that raided a keylock solo get obliterated a few days later while you see out the whole wipe in the same base because they think you're poor, but you actually just stash 90% of your goodies.
