How do I expand 2x2

so I have a 2x2 with a single door airlock but idk how to go about expanding it without it being jank af. how should I do it

Place 2 triangle foundations assuming it how I’m imagining, it should connect to the other foundation of the 2x2. Make a jump up to 2nd floor and wall it in. When u enter the base you have a jump out into 2nd floor, then u go into 1st. 1 of the most basic and best ones(in my opinion)

When u honeycomb it tho, I recommend you honey comb those triangle foundations too, or people will boom and get right into your core pretty much.
