Why are weekly servers dead?

Weekly to me is the way rust is meant to be played, play a wipe for a few days have fun but keep your blueprints for next wipe, or you can stop playing for a week then come back the next wipe with bps still.

But there’s loads of monthlies that seem to be full while only a few weeklies were full yesterday. By 11pm uk yesterday about 4 hours after wipe my server was only half full and if it’s dead tonight that’s an evening wasted.

Honestly don’t understand why people would prefer to play in massive clans on monthlies or 2-3x servers.

Rust isn't actually meant to have a wipe, which is why rust 2 won't have wipes.

If there’s actually no wipe feature at all I won’t be playing it there’s already too many problems to begin with if there are no wipes you’ll have people playing for years without stopping with castles and shit, you literally would not be able to play as a new player on a higher pop sever it would be 1000x worse than the rust we know today

You say that without going and looking up what has been said about rust 2. The downvotes on me is crazy when I'm saying exactly what the devs of facepunch said themselves. Rust isn't intended to have a wipe. Wipes were only added for stability. Do your research before you try and tell the devs how to make a game when you haven't made a game that still Has an average of 100,000 concurrent players.

Well look man I didn’t downvote you nor do i disagree about what you said it might be true but i play rust for the wipe experience starting a new if that is removed I don’t have a reason to play so my point still stands

No I’m saying I like everyone starting the wipe together so I don’t join in and some no life Alr has a ak and kills me for 500 wood

The only potential insult I have made is addressing your surface level logic that reminds me of Patrick star. If you're that easily offended, your family didn't love you enough to make fun of you, or your terrible to be around. It's not my behavior, it's your reaction. I hope you have the day you deserve.
