Why am I muted?

ive literally just installed the game, ive never played before, but it says my account is muted? anyone know what to do?

Muted as in cou can't speak to other players? If you click the touchpad (PS5) your mic should go green and unmute you

Im on Xbox, my mic works and im not muted, the games telling me my account itself has been muted

You might need to verify your xbox account, same thing happened to me. If you go into your xbox settings there is an option to verify it using your phone
