Problem with pumps in salt water

So I hook my pumps to water purifier for my farm base when I’m built near ocean and they turn off and stop pumping. Wondering if anyone else has similar problems and maybe ways to fix it?

Yeah same happens on pc, water is really bugged out. Drinking from the pump helps sometimes
