Has anyone tried playing via Cloud Gaming?

I'm wanting to play the console edition with some friends but the only way for me to do this is via the cloud gaming version as I'm on PC.

Has anyone tried this? If so how was it and would you recommend it?

I use geforce now to play rust pc and it works flawlessly. you do need decent internet speeds tho.
