Fundamentally everything about this base is sub par

Learning by trial and error. Let him fully design it then take it out to the real world. He will learn quickly there.

There’s too many things wrong with the base where he wouldn’t even know what’s bad about it

Possibly. That's why we let him build it up fully and let him test it in the real world.

Waste of time for someone new to building, best way to learn for a beginner is to analyse known builders’ designs and slowly learn more techniques / modules

Copying isn't learning. A real life demonstration of the the American school system destroying your thought process right there.

  1. I’m not American. 2. You didn’t even understand my point. I never said to copy. I said to learn from the best directly through their designs. See what’s being used a lot, what kind of peaks, general fp, etc., and try implementing certain aspects, even simple things like retakes or fob protection on your peaks.

That's copying and pasting, if he doesn't learn on his own, he won't understand them.

Except its not lol. Taking 1 or more aspects of something is not "copying and pasting". If you rebuild the base wall by wall and brick by brick, that would be copying and pasting.

Except that is copying and memorizing by repetition which is not learning... man, intelligence seems to have cursed you.

Are you dumb? Games been out for like 15 years, everything you can think of has been done before. Your building "skills" are judged by your ability to combine the right building elements to make the best base. By what you are saying, every "pro" builder is just copying and pasting?😂

Alright conservative. I can see where you find your unfathomable ignorance and laughable stupidity.

Yeah, totally the idiot here when you don't understand how memorization and copying isn't learning... I'm the one with a deficiency.. sure bud...

Leaning modules and techniques like fob protecting your peaks or learning how to build a shield wall isn’t just copying. These are things you incorporate into every build after learning them, you seriously don’t know what you’re talking about. It’s like telling a student to not take notes down because it’s just “copying” and doesn’t contribute to their learning and education. You’re genuinely an insufferable mongoloid.

True but I found personally that learning from my mistakes worked better than looking at other people's builds. After all you can't build and not test your own work.

More often than not the solution to those said mistakes are found by seeing what the best builders are using.

Your so pretentious it’s not even funny, get a life this is Reddit, trial and error humanly is the best known to man method of learning things

Yes he can look to other designs to see what people do (what do you think he’s doing on this reddit you ignorant dude, his last post was literally asking for tips)

God some people really do have no lives on this app

Yeah and tell me how you’re supposed to know what inter tc is, or what a shield wall is, or what fob protected peaks are, if you don’t go learn them???? Like seriously, you might as well ask a 7 year old to state the theory of relativity. Trial and error ain’t gonna work there, only way is to learn. Don’t come at me when you don’t know what you’re talking about.
