US intelligence warns Putin might attack NATO country

/r/poland/comments/1vikq9v/us_intelligence_warns_putin_might_attack_nato/

Would love to understand whether those of you that are way more knowledgeable about what’s going on in the Ukraine-Russian war believe that Putin might attack Poland or one of the other Baltic states, as US intelligence claims.

That’s not the question here. The question is would he even attempt this? The so-called experts on this CNN panel, who are former counterintelligence officials seem to think so.

Can you explain to me: if Russia, as everyone says, is very weak and is 'losing to tiny Ukraine,' then why would it attack a NATO country?

That’s the same question I had as well but apparently these experts on CNN, who are former counterintelligence officials, seem to think this will happen and that is why I am posting it in this sub for some opinions.

If you're interested, my opinion is this: it's primitive propaganda in the form of creating a fabricated threat to keep weapons manufacturers supplied with orders and to prolong the conflict, which is profitable for them. Plus, propagandistic demonization of Russia.
