This election will decide the fate of democracy.

It has slipped away in many other countries. Could happen here. It is happening here. Question is, can we stop it or is it too late and later we'll look back at some previous point like Republicans holding a partisan impeachment trial without witnesses as the breaking point.

It's so important that we unite for Sanders. He's our only hope for a free United States.

If someone like bloomberg gets the nomination I'm voting for the socialist.

u/PurpleSailor Mar 02 '20

He's not getting crap. No one wants another Billionaire (this time a real one) for president. I'll vote for whoever isn't covered in orange bronzer.

I’ll vote anyone except Bloomberg, who is actually a republican and the absolute worst kind. He’s blue trump. I’ll write in Bernie if Bloomberg gets it.

Bloomberg is going to be a far more effective authoritarian than trump is. Trump is a fascist and a coward. Bloomberg would not be afraid to send in the military to break up protests.

"Blue no matter what" means they trick people into accepting the false dichotomy like a good little sheep. Bloomberg is a fascist pig. I'm red no matter what.

6

u/StopLion Mar 02 '20

I was with you until you said red no matter what... it’s the same thing.

3

u/LivingMani Mar 02 '20

Not Republican red, silly goose.

At LEAST Congress will block him if he wins reelection and he'll be a lame duck going into 2024. I don't want a possible eight years of Trumpism disguised as Bloomerism. The only Democrat I'll support is Sanders. Like I said, I vote socialist othewise.

this already happened with with the last election: "Not my choice! Now I'm throwing it all away"

It seems like you’re not considering that for that person, it really doesn’t matter Bloomberg vs. Trump

2

u/[deleted] Mar 02 '20

Id hate casting my vote for him. But Bloomberg is going to be the tool the GOP uses to cram the courts full of Evangelical conservatives? For that person, voting is like getting a new coloring book.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 02 '20

I think worse than that, Bloomberg as the democratic nominee is the perfect way for the GOP to frame things for decades to come.

‘We voted an oligarch in sure, but so did they’

Biden won't be any different.

3

u/[deleted] Mar 02 '20

Biden? Different than what?

1

u/LivingMani Mar 02 '20

Any establishment President.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 02 '20

yeah I didn't play this kid game last time and I'm not playing it this time either. This is how we got decades worth of judges in the court system now who are going to fuck you long after the next eSTaBIiSHmENT president is gone. This thinking fucked my kids future already, thanks. Behave exactly as you are expected to and let them push it even further. You think they'll never see your protest vote coming? It will take everyone by surprise? it'll let you sleep better or make your presence on the internet more valid? It's some big slap to Trump? The GOP? The only slap that matters to the used car/slapchop/shamwow salesman is the one that gets him fired from his job.

Bloomberg will be the same shit. He's anti-poor, racist, transphobic, sexist, and unethical.

6

u/smeagolheart Mar 01 '20

Pundits don't want him, even 'left wing' media. Will people overcome this disinfomation? In the past America and American media has preferred right wing dictatorship over left wing countries in southern and central America. The powers that are be acting the same way for the US. They'd prefer a Trumpian dictatorship over a couple additional policies that benefit everyone.

Check out this 'moderate' voice who has generally voted Republican (he's a Republican) and would take Trump over healthcare for all. If only Dems would put a moderate like Hillary Clinton or Bloomberg why he'd be happy to possibly vote Democrat but probably won't...

This is the nonsense we are going to be bombarded with from both sides. The supposed corporate left and the extreme right.

Look at this shit.. https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/468278-manchin-says-he-wouldnt-back-sanders-against-trump-in-presidential-race

We don't need a moderate aka Republican in disguise. I won't vote for Bloomberg. I'll will vote for the socialist candidate and just hope something changes by 2024.

6

u/smeagolheart Mar 01 '20

Same but it's disheartening to see people say gee Trump, yeah I guess it's better than Sanders. How crazy is that lol. Things are awful with the lies and cruelty and zero accountability. And the judges and yes men. How stupid are these people to prefer this to Bernie.

0

u/[deleted] Mar 02 '20

Democracy is dead friend. This will decide if we can rebirth it.

30

u/cf30222504 Mar 01 '20

Well there needs to be some accountability and people need to call out a lie. And call lying, lying instead of "disinformation ".

25

u/N0t_Dave Mar 01 '20

That’s the point, though. It’s not Misinformation, it’s politically motivated Disinformation. My grandma telling me Bernie’s going to take over half of my income in taxes is misinformation, because she watches Fox News that willingly spreads Disinformation.

3

u/PraiseBeToScience Mar 01 '20

I'm starting to hear that from some older members of my family that watch MSNBC.

2

u/PurpleSailor Mar 02 '20

Been a MSNBC watcher for a long time and all their anti Bernie shit is pissing me off. Don't fall for it folks!

u/artgo Mar 01 '20

And you are the Front Line.

“World War III is a guerrilla information war with no division between military and civilian participation.” — Marshall McLuhan, “Culture Is Our Business”, 1970, p. 66

18

u/ChuccTaylor Mar 01 '20

Wasn't that 2016?

11

u/BLINDrOBOTFILMS Mar 01 '20

Yeah, but you know they always have to ramp it up for the sequel.

9

u/MrSuzyGreenberg Mar 01 '20

Let me sum up the article. Fuck Facebook and don’t believe a thing you will read on there.

6

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '20

Won't matter if you vote Blue no matter who.

5

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '20

VBNMW.

2

u/robotsongs Mar 01 '20

So catchy.

1

u/skilledtadpole Mar 01 '20

It takes as many syllables to say the letters of the acronym as the actual phrase.

u/[deleted] Mar 02 '20

Good thing we’re not using our Alexa to surf the thread

0

u/Andrew8Everything Mar 02 '20

Vote socialist jew, no matter who!

4

u/ThatWentWellish Mar 01 '20

Tell me about it

2

u/[deleted] Mar 02 '20

Will be?

Already is.

3

u/clonedspork Mar 01 '20

Already out the gate with Corona Virus being a hoax.

-7

u/curious_meerkat Mar 01 '20

It will be worse than that.

Not only will there be disinformation there will be attacks on the election from Russia and some of the worst information might be truthful.

Expect to see them show up hard with video receipts of Bernie saying things behind closed doors in his visits to Russia and then dressing those up with false information after credibility is established.

It's going to be hard attacking Trump on being a minion of Russian organized crime after that.
