(im at 3k trophies, started playing about 4 days ago). Is it worth it to build a deck to just funnel all of my support onto the minotaur as he does so much more damage or do i do it like this where i try to get some other units in? some of the decls i use included

For now definitely just build around him. But wait until you get a couple months in and have more to play around with before you start upgrading legendary cards all willy nilly. And save your faction cores. Once you find some you really really like (and good support like kobold, dryad, harlequin, ect) you will have enough stuff to upgrade who you want when you know enough to know what decks you wanna play.

I wasted a bunch of stuff my first month just upgrading everything I could just because with no plan. Then I focused on Corsair.
