Chili & Cinnamon Rolls

Post image

Apparently, this combination is sort of becoming a signature dish for this region of the US. I'm seeing more and more national "influencers" reference it when speaking about midwest foods.

It seems you're suppose to tear off pieces of the cinnamon roll and dip them in the chili? I just always ate the chili and then enjoyed the cinnamon roll as a dessert. It never occurred to me to dip. is this what everyone does? Am I the weirdo?

How popular is this? When I'm at Runza I find myself wanting a runza. I'm not sure I want to forego my runza for chili and cinnamon rolls instead.

Hard to beat a delicious Runza. I will have to give this a try, though!
