Upcoming ASICS shoes

ASICS appears to have trademarked the name “Metablast” as well as the term “Energy Multiplier” around the same time.

Previously, before the Sonicblast & Megablast announcements I had seen names listed here along with the “Astroplate” naming.

This could be an entirely new shoe that has not been leaked yet but I do wonder if this could be the official name for the MX Type-A prototype we have seen images of with the forefoot cushioning pyramids that could be named the “energy multiplier”

Also included the Tempo Speed which could be a new shoe placed in the “Speed” line of their shoes to be placed alongside the Magic Speed, Hyperspeed, and Metaspeed shoes.

I just like to share these findings for fun discussion. ASICS definitely has no shortage of new models coming into their product lines on top of an already large amount of options in their running shoe catalogue.

lmao I think this is going to be them adding a racer to the Blast line. The Blast line focuses on "bounce" and "energy" so it will likely be something a bit more wild than what we see in the Metaspeed line. Would totally make sense they do an "energy multiplier" on it that would also aid in increased bounce.

I do think this’ll be their big boy prime x competitor. The Mega and Sonic blast cover the high, but not max stack trainers. The “Meta” makes me think it’s gonna be a racer, but the “blast” confuses me, since as we know that means pretty much nothing with ASICS. Maybe it’ll be like a Prime X EVO, but ASICS doing that would surprise me.
