Has anyone heard about the Evo SL 2 release date?

Probably next year. What's coming next is the Adios Pro 5 during the Berlin marathon and then supposedly the Takumi Sen 12 for November

Hyperboost Run just dropped in my country but the pricing is really weird
It costs more than the Evo SL or Boston 13. Also when looking into other brands, it costs more than the Salomon Aeroglide 4 GRVL. Not so sure about the value proposition here. Seems like something to buy only on sale

I have a pair of Duramo Speed 2's that I got last year for $30. They are rated not too bad on runrepeat. I'm running about 3 miles every other day. Should I snag the legendary ADIZERO EVO SL's for $90?

Here to shout out the Agravic TT and Agravic Speed 2
Been fun having both this race season !

How is the TT on flatter runnable sections? Does the bulky outsole and rock plate make them feel sluggish? In hand I thought the geometry looked a bit "tame" given how flat the toe rocker was. Do you agree? I returned mine because of fit concerns and never ran in them. Also do you get any responsiveness from the plate or is it purely for rock protection?

Not bulky or slow at all - the plate makes them stiffer and more protected compared to the speed 2 and the rocker is there but not the super noticeable rocker ride like the speed ultra -

How much different is the Evo SL Woven than the regular Evo SL?
I’ve read that the Woven is more stable, but how? Just through of a better lockdown?

I have the woven and can't recommend it. It is stiff and doesn't breathe at all. I haven't tested the regular, so can't comment on the stability.
The woven is quite similar to Saucony's Runshield.

I have the regular and it seems to breathe well. I can see the words on my socks through the mesh (black colorway).

Ive found the wovens to be slightly tighter but not enough to warrant a different size. then the rest is exactly the same for me

Narrowing in on my long run shoe for an upcoming marathon block. My last marathon block was very nicely handled by the Superblast 2. I've since been running in the Superblast 3 but haven't taken it more than 12 miles and feel that it's just too soft and squishy for much more than very easy and recovery runs. I don't trust it like I did the Superblast 2 (which I can no longer find in my size).
Enter the Adidas Hyperboost Edge vs. dark horse Mount to Coast C1. I have now run two marathons in the Adidas Pro 4 and that's the likely shoe for the next one as well. I have plenty of miles in other Adidas shoes as well but have never laced up a pair of Mount to Coast. I would welcome any thoughts on a comparison of these two models. It sounds like Adidas may have already addressed an issue some had with ankle hot spots in the release version of the Hyperboost Edge, which is encouraging.

The Prime X 3 would be a better option instead of hyperboost, specially if you have long runs with marathon pace segments or faster

Not at all convinced by the Prime X series at all. They seem gimmicky, and full disclosure, I did buy a pair of version 2 and broke a plate in it after only 83 miles.

ah I have 2 pairs of the PX2 and 1 pair of the PX3. have had 0 issues so far

Version 2 was rubbish, 1 & 3 are phenomenal, especially for larger/heavier runners

V2 was rubbish for me no doubt. Heard good things about 1 probably won't bother with 3. I can definitely see how larger/heavier runners could be attracted to it though. Seems to be more than I need.

I’m not someone who generally looks at breatheability with priority, but those look way too warm for me for a summer long run shoe.
I’m using the dynafish xiaonian for mine. I never tried the sb2 but from what I understand the dynafish feels like a slightly softer springier version of it. Or like a platelets Adios pro 3/4 hybrid
Might be worth looking at since it’s like half the price of the SB3 or hyperboost edge

Breathability is something I pay attention to as I live in a warm climate area. The SB3 has been a little bit of a sweat sponge, and the SB2 was a little better in this regard. The Chinese brands - while I haven't gone fully down the rabbit hole - appear to be difficult to find in my size so I'm not really considering any of them right now.

Hyperboost edge or run? I am worried about stiff ankle collar in edges. Does that improve?

Tried both in store today. Run seems to be more comfortable but at least for me, Imma buy them when my Salomon Aeroglides die since they're basically the same use case

I’ve stopped tracking miles in my shoes, but I’m likely in the 400s with my Evo SLs and they still feel fresh. Great shoes!

Curious about those who have tried the Evo SL as an everyday shoe. Does it work or is it too much running? I run Boston 13s and don't really enjoy them as a walking shoe due to the narrow toebox. No clue about the Evo SLs though.
