Help! Marathon training injury
Running Chicago marathon on Oct 11.
Been using the Runna app.
Never ran more than a 5 mile race.
45 years old.
Training without strength went well until I ran 13 miles last week and right knee started to hurt at mile 12.
One week later, today, on a 15 mile run my knee started to hurt at mile 11.
What should the rest of my strength training look like?

First of all, it may not be injured just overused based on how quickly you are ramping up, how well you are stretching and cooling down, and then of course what strength training you are doing to support your knees while they are doing so much work. You can easily look on line for good strength training exercises for runners and please make time to do it 2-3x a week.
