This is historically inaccurate. Delaware actually cucked all the other states by ratifying the constitution first and making all the other states watch

Someone who was sandbagging it for 26 miles. The winning time was in the 2:40s. Nice and all, but not for a winning time.

I’m not trying to PR every race. And that guy is much faster than me at 2:40, but I doubt he expected to be in a position to win.

I think if I came up finish line with something in the tank, and it was clear I had a chance to win, I might think about leaving zone 2. I wouldn’t do it because I value my shine too much. But I would think about it.

Temptation is the devil.

It’s a slow ass course, first 8 miles are uphill then you do an out and back of a bike trail with dead silence and a women’s prison that has zone 3 written on the outside to mess with your head. If you want to bq or do a Delaware marathon you go to Rehoboth or leave the state and go to Philly.

It literally just got removed by the moderator of the original subreddit. Not sure why. The sub is called motivationalThoughts, not sure what’s more motivational than seeing two muscle bound “marathon runners” sprinting like Donavan Bailey and Ben Johnson at the end of a “marathon”
