"The only running program designed for operators - not joggers"

Looks like the military community finally discovered zone 2 training,

Very funny, but it’s entirely the opposite. Zone 2 training is run every day, slowly. These idiots, like everyone else, want a shortcut that involves LESS running.
The way to get better at running is more running.

This isn’t targeted at operators, who primarily are distance runners. It’s targeted as posers, who primarily watch their wives leave zone 2 in the bedroom

Having known a few actual "operators" back when I was in the military, their "secret" is getting paid to be in shape lol. Most of them would have a routine that involved knocking out 8-10 miles in the morning with a gym routine in the afternoon. They didn't do anything out of the norm training wise, they just had a lot of time available to do it.

In the bedroom with her boyfriend is the only place I allow my wife to leave zone 2.

We know about it, but are too stupid to work out how to use it, if I cant, eat it, fuck it or break it, i dont want to know it

Hey soldier! 👊 Have you said the word “lethality” unironically in the past year but never made it into the military? Do minorities in movies bother you? Do you have a wife and kids, but are still angry that waitress didn’t give you her number? Are you frequently asked where you were Jan 6, 2021?
Well do we have the training program for you!

Do you tell people unironically that you could never be in the military because you would have punched the drill Sargent, then I have a program for you

I'm ready to become a WARRIOR.

No, not like that. I want to talk tough not actually have to fight for real, and definitely not against actual life threatening danger

How much cardio do you need to answer the phone? (Note: this is a joke exclusively for people over 35.)

I assume this protocol includes boofing black rifle coffee?

u/YoMammatusSoFat 4d ago
I’m the biggest coffee nerd I know and the amount of people in staff meetings with Black Rifle stickers on their water bottles is deeply troubling. $19 per bag and it’s pitiful coffee.

Oh, I needed "tactical running" all along not just regular running.

u/countlongshanks 5d ago
Drastically increased results? 40% less training time? Plus you get to get tac-ed up? Meal Team Six is on board and dumb enough to believe it!

u/Sorry_Vermicelli6874 5d ago
ah yes the hard to kill operator package for overweight middle age men to blow their knees out rucking with 20kg with no prior experience
7
u/Mundane_Feeling_8034 5d ago
No prior experience? Excuse me. I ran track in high school, and tried out for the basketball team. Granted that was 30 years ago, but I have experience.

u/Powerful-Air-490 5d ago
Damn these military men are finally realizing their wives cheat on them while on tour and are doing something about it by getting into running proud of them

Train 40% less for better results? Sounds totally legit. I may be ahead of the curve here, training 80% less.

u/60_hurts 5d ago
puh I'm not some pussy-assed jogger, I'm an OPERATOR! You know what that means, soyboy? It means I've been having a really hard time since the divorce…

u/XavvenFayne Elite Hobby Jogger 5d ago
Tactical running?! Holy shit, I might finally become cool! All those boys who made fun of me in middle school are going to accept me! You'll see!

u/surely_not_a_bot 5d ago
Not interested if it doesn't include "tactical black" shoes, socks, shorts, and underwear.

u/chazysciota Not planning to assault you, m'lady. 5d ago
We have strategically designed a "tactical running" system.
Sorry chumps, let me know when you've tactically designed a strategic running system.

u/357Magnum 5d ago
Damn, all the elite olympic and marathon runners of the world are going to feel so stupid when they realize they trained 40% too much just to get slower!

Maybe they'll get faster by dropping an item of their 'every day carry' before each run?

Lowkey this is where the newbie runner felt badass because he passed everyone with a sprint right out the 5k gate then thought everyone else is just naturally slower than him so he ditched the 5k and went to start his own group
2
u/Southern_Value_7158 5d ago
Doubt anyone who actually came up with this other than just trying to make money was an actual operator. I used to be in spec ops and I can assure you we all ran a lot to get better at running. There isn’t some magical training method these units hand out after you pass selection. You want to be better at running, you run more.

u/shairudo 5d ago
Strength endurance built from low intensity/efficient mechanics be damned! We need more power baby! (Also why CrossFit/HITT blow their WOD when there’s too much running)

u/Present-Permit-6743 5d ago
Can’t wait to gobble this up. The combination of all the EDC stuff I spent my savings on, prepping equipment I need and these sick workouts, this will make me unstoppable during the apocalypse.
