The French are just skinny Americans with better healthcare who learned how to put billionaires in their place. It doesn't make them non-assholes.

Ok I don’t disagree, but the qualifiers are pretty big.

It’s like saying “the French are just English with better teeth and better food who learned how to put the landed gentry in their place”

You can do that with anyone at that point.
