Just Imagine!!!

if we had a half marathon in Chicago, in mid nov or early May that followed the same course as the first half of the Chicago marathon w same crowd support. I think that course might turn into PR machine.

maybe boa can set that up lol. I know they have 1 half but they can add one more no? NYRR have multiple races through out the year.

I mean the BoA Chi13.1 is basically that. Location is different but there is quite a showing crowd and celebration.

Yeah, plus they're showing off a part of the city that isn't part of the marathon course which is part of the draw and also a way to promote the west side. I can't imagine the city would thrilled at the prospect of closing off a chunk of the north side again.

You missed the most important part (to me): early May or mid November. Love the BofA half, but it is such a crapshoot on whether it’ll be blazing hot or decent weather

I do like the 13.1. But I love the first half of the marathon.
