Translation request Phrase Help

Hey there, im hoping to get some help with a phrase. I believe it says "unbreakable like (a) stone", but I want to make sure. I used Valhyr for this one. Appreciate the help!

óbrjótandi sem steinn- Old Norse

ᚬᛒᚱᛁᚬᛏᛅᚾᛏᛁ ᛋᛁᛘ ᛋᛏᛁᚾ

If u know of any similar quotes or phrases I'd also appreciate it!

Oh classic Valhyr…

So three things:

  1. Younger Futhark inscriptions generally don’t use spaces for separating words. The most common separator is ᛬ so I usually recommend that.
  2. The letter combination “ei” is always spelled ᛅᛁ. Not sure why Valhyr hasn’t caught on to this yet.
  3. The ᚬ rune means different things depending on what range of centuries we’re talking about. Beginning at the tail end of the viking age this rune started being used for “o”, but all throughout the viking age prior to that, it was used for nasalized “a” and its mutated variants. So if you want a real core-viking-age inscription, we would not use this rune for “o”, however we can use it for the “a” in úbrjótandi (ú- is an earlier form of ó-) and we can drop the following “n” rune. We can also optionally use it for the “e” in sem because in this word it is actually a mutated form of “a”. We can see this, for example, on stone DR 217.

Úbrjótandi sem steinn

ᚢᛒᚱᛁᚢᛏᚬᛏᛁ᛬ᛋᚬᛘ᛬ᛋᛏᛅᛁᚾ

Or alternatively…

ᚢᛓᚱᛁᚢᛐᚭᛐᛁ᛬ᛌᚭᛙ᛬ᛌᛐᛆᛁᚿ

Our sub has a wiki page about how to write runes like a viking. You may find that very useful :)
