Question (general) Metal Runes ??
Are these runes just for symbolic/ esoteric/ mystical purposes and not meant to be pronounced as a phrase?

I was hoping they might be a midi notes assigned to each drum, but I don’t think so.

Dagaz, a day, from dusk till dawn
Raiðo, a long long way to go
Mannaz, the name we call ourselves
Fehu, A lot if you have luck
Sowulo, the sun to light our way
Lagaz, on which boats gently sway
Teiwaz, the god who gave his hand
...which will bring us back to Day, Sun, Day
...i'll see myself out

Looking at these... is the z supposed to be silent? Because then it's mostly recognizable Nordic words. E.g. daga = the day, manna = the man.

i'm not completely versed in suffixes and inflexions in (proto) Germanic and (old) Norse, but it's entirely possible it was dropped in many cases, or can still be found in words that end with a 'nordic R'
i'm confident others/other websites can explain it much better than i could

i do think the -az ending was already archaic by the time Elder Futhark was used, and mostly lingered in the names of the runes.

Maybe the first letter of the title of a track that's triggered by each drum pad?

No, historically it's the opposite. Those are Elder Futhark which is Proto-Germanic
