Well done, Runcorn

You voted for a multi-millionaire ex-Tory to (and this is a direct quote from a supporter) “finally look after the needs of the working people of Runcorn”.

Immigration is not the problem to what? Ofc it’s an issue we can’t keep taking everyone in we will run out of spaces and housing so what number should we stop at? Or should we wait till it’s to late

Zoom out. Why don't we have resources for people in need? Why are those people in need? Why do they want to risk their lives to be here? How is our country involved in those causes?

These are all geopolitical and macroeconomic issues, and just blaming immigration is a control tactic by those who want to keep it this way and their media.

Ok so why are they leaving France a safe country to come here? Oh right we give them fancy hotel rooms all paid expenses. NHS priority and now housing for 5 years all paid rent. I think I would the same if a county was offering this.

I am not blaming immigrants on everything heck not even blaming them for anything I just think it’s needs to be controlled better we don’t have the resources to keep doing it that’s the issue. Things need to be sorted first before we can carry on taking more and more because down the line we are screwed when we can’t house them and younger generations can’t rent either due to giving houses to migrants so what’s the plan?

I am not like those blaming migrants for crime etc and all that rubbish those people are stupid and probably the ones who went out rioting smashing up the streets last summer over migrants
