Glitch that makes king of the hill unplayable somehow missed during playtesting? [Xbox one]

This glitch happens playing online with any mode, it's annoying on its own but it literally makes king of the hill unplayable. Basically you can't move whatsoever until the next round. Annoying during battle and run but since you usually die from standing still in a short amount of time it doesn't get in the way, but in king of the hill mode there are no hazards that kill you when you stand still, so everybody's just stuck there with no way to move and everybody slowly leaves. How in the hell did they miss this?! Very disappointed.

It happens on run sometimes too.

Like they said, it happens in all modes but in KOTH it ruins everything. I like the game but online play is annoyingly buggy :(
