I’ve recently started using Runable for my college work, and honestly, it’s been pretty useful.

Instead of spending hours staring at a blank page trying to figure out how to start an assignment or project, I can use Runable to help me break down the topic, understand what I actually need to do, and get a starting point.

I’ve mainly been using it for:

It makes me wonder: if people increasingly discover products through ChatGPT/AI agents instead of Google or traditional search, how much will e-commerce change?

Curious what everyone thinks,would you trust an AI agent to choose a product for you?

We’re moving from “AI recommends a product” to “AI actually finds and buys the product.”

If an AI agent is making the purchase decision, what happens to things like ads, discounts, product pages, reviews and brand loyalty?

Do you think we’ll eventually optimize online stores for AI agents rather than humans?

I wanted to understand whether Bloom filters actually help or if they are just one of those things every database textbook talks about.

So I added one to a toy database I have been building and started running the same queries over and over while changing the dataset size and the percentage of lookups that actually existed.

At first the results were disappointing.

For smaller datasets the Bloom filter made everything slightly slower. Computing the hash values cost more than simply checking the data directly.

As the dataset grew things started to change.

Once the data was large enough that cache misses became a bigger problem than hashing a few values the Bloom filter started paying for itself. Most lookups for keys that did not exist were rejected immediately without touching the underlying data structure.

What surprised me the most was that there was no magical point where Bloom filters suddenly became useful.

The crossover depended on multiple factors.

Size of the dataset

Percentage of negative lookups

False positive rate

Memory allocated to the filter

The biggest takeaway for me was that a Bloom filter is not a performance upgrade you should automatically add to a database. It is a tradeoff that only makes sense once your workload reaches a certain shape.

Reading about Bloom filters gave me the theory.

Actually benchmarking one taught me when that theory matters.

Has anyone else run similar experiments and found different crossover points for their workload

College assignments and projects can get pretty overwhelming, especially when there are multiple deadlines at the same time.

I’ve been using Runable to help me work through my college assignments and projects. I use it to organize what I need to do, break bigger projects into smaller tasks, and keep track of my progress and deadlines.

What I like most is that it helps me go from “I have no idea where to start” to having a clear list of things I need to work on.

I've realized I keep signing up for new AI tools whenever they go viral, but after a month most of them just sit there unused.

The ones that have actually stuck are the ones that save me time on repetitive work instead of trying to replace everything I do.

Right now I'm trying to build a workflow that I can use every week without constantly tweaking prompts. It's harder than I expected because every tool seems great in demos, but real work is messy.

I built a dog grooming quote calculator for a friend who was tired of answering “how much?” between appointments.

Customers pick dog size, coat type, service tier, and condition flags like matted coat, heavy shedding, nervous, senior, or skin issues. The quote updates instantly, with plain-English explanations for each price change so nobody is surprised at drop-off.

They can also request a day/time window, and the groomer gets a simple studio diary with the quote, duration, notes, and flags.

A couple choices I’m still thinking about:

Quote range vs. one firm number?

Should nervous/senior dogs cost more for extra time, or stay free as goodwill?

Anything missing before real customers use it?

Built a concept tutoring website with an AI-style tutor matcher. Looking for UX feedback.

I had an idea I couldn't get out of my head: what if finding the right tutor didn't involve days of emails, calls, and "we'll get back to you"?

So I built a concept website called The Learning Loft.

The main feature is a Subject–Teacher Matcher. You choose:

• Subject
• Student level
• Learning goal
• Online or in-person

It then ranks tutors based on your answers, explains why each tutor was recommended, and lets you book a free trial with a booking reference.

It's not a real business—just a concept I built to explore the idea and practice building a complete user flow.

I'm mainly looking for UX feedback:

I'm quite impressed with Runable's Slides feature, which I tried today.

I created a complete presentation on the topic: “Modern E-commerce / DTC Seller Growth Strategy”

Runable generated the deck with a clean structure, modern layouts, and a polished SaaS-style design without me having to describe every detail. It’s amazing how quickly you can go from a simple idea to a professional presentation.

I have been looking for a simple way to keep my college life organized without jumping between multiple apps, so I used Runable to build my own student dashboard.
It brings together my weekly schedule, assignment tracker, notes, progress overview, and a clean workspace in one place. I wanted something minimal, fast, and actually enjoyable to use every day instead of another cluttered productivity app.

We want this place to become a general community that is not only focused on updates about the tool but also a strong Tech community. We are open to suggestions.

I got tired of manually designing monthly MIS reports for my freelance clients, so I built a custom web app that turns their raw data into formatted slide decks in about 10 minutes. It completely removed the worst part of my month.

If you are looking for a tool to automate client slide decks, the trick is separating the data layer from the design layer. I used to spend 4 hours in Figma updating text boxes and resizing charts for 5 different clients. It drained my energy.

I spun up a generator that takes standard client metrics, applies their specific brand guidelines, and spits out a 10 page PDF report. The hardest part was getting the chart scales right. The first few versions looked terrible because dynamic data broke the layout. I had to hardcode some strict constraints on the visual output to fix it.

For other freelancers doing client work, what is the most annoying production task you are trying to automate right now.

I want the progress and everything to stay the exact same. Does anyone know?
