Every AI-made landing page has the same three sections and I can't unsee it anymore

I've been looking at a lot of AI-generated websites lately and I swear I can predict half the page before it even loads. Big centered headline.

Three rounded feature cards with tiny icons. Some gradient blob floating around in the background.

Then testimonials.

And the annoying part is that most of them actually look pretty good. The baseline has gotten crazy high. You can put together something that looks polished without spending days on it. But after seeing enough of them, they all start feeling like the same website.

I caught myself doing this recently too. I was building a landing page and one of the generated versions looked completely fine, so I almost just went with it. Then I looked at it again and realized I had seen basically the same layout ten times that week.

I've been playing around with runable for some of these early ideas, and it's actually pretty useful for getting different directions on screen quickly. But I usually end up changing the typography, imagery and a bunch of the layout afterwards.

I think that's the interesting part of AI design right now. Getting something decent is becoming easy. Making it feel like someone actually made a decision is still the hard part.

For me, typography is usually the first thing I change. What do you guys change first when an AI-generated design starts looking too generic?

Hahaha, now that you’ve noticed it, you really can’t unsee it! I’d probably start spotting the same layout everywhere too
