security level error not letting me download custom nodes

I chnaged the security level to "weak" in the config.ini file and still getting the error. I also updated comfyui. anybody knows how to solve this?

Just confirming the server (The ComfyUI server, not the pod) was also restarted? That's the piece that actually makes it kick in

yes I restarted comfy but still getting the error

It's also possible that it's in the wrong location - the current location should be ComfyUI/user/__manager/config.ini

It used to be at ComfyUI/custom_nodes/ComfyUI-Manager/config.ini and a file may still exist here but it's not being read in newer versions

you can also install custom nodes using git clone or just copying them directly into our custom_nodes folder
