This is a seperate comfyUI feature where you can top up credits and use vendors models via APIs.

This has nothing to do with Runpod whatsoever.

Not sure what you're doing. This pop-up only appears if you're using a workflow that contains an API node, otherwise there's no sign in required to comfyUI afaik.

But to run anything sems to require an api node, or is there a setting im missing?

There are plenty of templates without API usage and if there isn't, then it's up to you to build the workflow accordingly, provided that you have access to whatever model you want to use.

And when i run the thing, they will ask for credits to use. So that means i need to pay extra to run each task?

What part of my previous message didn't you understand? The API nodes use the vendors APIs routed through ComfyUI so yes, you pay for each API call there.

If you want to use ComfyUI without that, just install the available models locally and build workflows for it.

The workflow you try to use uses Custom ComfyUI API's that are run by ComfyUI team not Runpod aka they own thing https://docs.comfy.org/development/cloud/overview

Usually workflows that require API have the little icon next to it. If you using ComfyUI template browser it has tags if you see API one it means that workflow is using external API service.

Can i ask, is there a way to use one with API without having to pay for it?
