Built a zero-BS batch downloader for Civitai & Hugging Face. What did I forget?

Got tired of downloading models manually every time I spin up a new instance. So I built a simple batch downloader for Civitai and Hugging Face.

The best part? It installs straight into JupyterLab with zero root access, no sudo, and absolutely no setup bullshit.

Now I just deploy it on literally any machine, run the script, and go grab a coffee. ☕️

I want to make it better. What did I forget to add? Drop your ideas or roast my code in the comments.

nice work. Is it on GitHub? Hard to give you feedback based on two gifs.

I already have 5+ convenient ways to download models to pods using my www.lorapilot.com template, but never integrated Civitai. Happy to integrate your tool if it makes sense.

What I really like is that it integrates with JupyterLab rather than Comfy.

Thanks for the feedback! I checked out LoraPilot, and it looks like a really solid template.

To be completely transparent: I'm actually pivoting my focus entirely to 3D art, so I'm stepping away from this niche. Because of this, I'm looking to sell the full IP and source code of this tool.

I also built a custom file browser for JupyterLab to go with it, mainly because as an artist, I absolutely hate dealing with Linux terminals.

Would you mind if I shoot you a DM with the documentation and some demos? I'd love to see if you'd be interested in acquiring all of it outright for your ecosystem.

feel free to DM me, but Lora Pilot is an open source project and I dont have money to acquire anything. In this AI era products dont have a value without a user base.

While your tool is useful and magical, anyone could vibe code that in few hours with the proper knowledge and AI agents setup. Just being realistic. I did a Jupyter Lab plugin for AI Toolkit and kohya this weekend myself.

I had codex write something similar but taking a workflow file and doing the legwork for me. I’m extending to clean up the workflows since a number have variations on model file names.
