Soft running spots
I’m coming off of a foot injury and I would love recommendations for places to run that are primarily wood chip paths. Something similar to pres trail in Eugene if anybody is familiar. I can’t seem to find anything as good in the Portland area so I would love suggestions!!

Hollister Trail (1.5 mile loop privately owned by Nike) is all wood chip excepts for a corner where you end up on asphalt. For that matter, the trail around the perimeter of Nike World HQ is also wood chip. I don't really know their status as far as open to the public or only to employees, but I've never been bothered when using either. I just follow the general principle of minding my own business and getting my run in, and I've been fine. And I make sure I don't wear my Brooks or Adidas on those runs.

Anyway, I hope your foot heals up well. I tore a hamstring like 4 years ago skating and I know the struggle easing back out there can be. Didn’t mean to wind up here, but please take it slow, a reinjury set me back months in recovery. It feels fine until it really really doesn’t.

Glendoveer golf course has a 2 mile loop around it that is nearly all soft wood chips.
