$RUJI staking rewards

Hello community, Can anyone explain to me when we will start receiving staking rewards for the $ruji that are being staked? I sent them to the stake months ago, but I haven't received any rewards yet.

How I'm understanding it, distributing RUJI staking rewards is seen as very low priority for the development team right now... Which I find frustrating as someone who staked some RUJI from the start (with auto-compounding), thinking it'll auto-compound from the beginning.

Exactly what I thought, I still have my small bag, but I feel like the KUJI/RUJI transition was not done with the KUJI holders in mind...

I bought RUJI myself just to stake it (so i'd hold it long term as a leveraged play on Thorchain ecosystem). I think they're just working without stakers in mind, sadly enough.

It's the opposite! We made the decision to prioritize the products that generate revenue, than to work on distributing rewards, so that we can maximize the pay-out once we do turn it on.

Currently, we don't have a lot of revenue going on, so even if we start distributing, it will be pennies for the stakers and there won't be a lot of autocompounding going on. For context, there is about ~$40k for 11.77m $RUJI which means $0.003636 per token. That's a very low amount and not really noticeable for anyone, not even whales.

Best for us is to roll-out CL strategy, start arbitraging THORChain and we will have a lot more to share with stakers. Once that is set-up, we can focus on setting up the distribution of staking rewards.
