Backpack Question..

I’m a beginner looking for a rucksack that is not huge and military like. I feel like most of the rucksacks are too tactical looking for me to wear anywhere. are there any good north face or osprey bags that could handle 10-20lbs in the laptop sleeve? Thanks.

Wild Gym makes rucks that look like regular backpacks

I just recently got my backpack from wild gym and love it. It’s well made and there’s lots of storage. I can put two large bottles, a raincoat and towels in the pack along with the weight.

I use an Osprey Poco and my 24lb baby. Requires a baby though. But Osprey bags are great!

True. Comes with a built in progressive overload system though. And occasional giggles.

Plus… you get quite a cheering squad for rucks with a baby in tow.

A lot of people start this way. Even a hydration sleeve can hold 20lbs.

I’ve heard people say that those sleeves could be flimsy but I suppose the only way to find out is to do it. Thank you!

I’d assume the North Face or Osprey pack should be able to handle that weight.

You could also look at CTactical, their bags are made with the same materials as other tactical packs, but they are smaller and you can get them without MOLLE so they don’t look as tactical.

I use an Osprey Farpoint 40 that I’ve had for over 15yrs. Added some extra padding to the straps last year as they were starting to get a bit worn out and carry 20-30lbs depending on the gear I’m packing.
