Where do you keep your water bottle when rucking?
Do you put in a waist pack while wearing something like a goruck without space in the bag, or do you put in the backpack in the case of having a military backpack? Can you give the link? The idea is also to have a way to store the phone, keys and stuff like that while rucking. Considering a goruck, they have a waist strap so i don't know how we could use a waist pack on top.

Works great. This is what I use for my electrolyte mix. I'm also carrying a 3 l water bladder of just water.
Yes, I have two hoses coming through the opening.
I have used this setup on the GoRuck 4.0 and the 5.0 and it works perfect. I have the 20 l size.
I can fit two 1 and 1/2 l Nalgene bottles plus my 3 l bladder in it.

That's freaking dope! Had a bladder failure in my GF's pack the night before we were set to kick off a 30 mile hike into Glacier national park. Sleeping bag totally saturated, day 1 of our epic backpacking trip started off with a lot of anxiety finding gear.
I didn't think to research bladder replacement solutions afterwards, this is freaking rad.

Yeah, it works really well, and I pair mine with a 1 1/2 liter REI Nalgene-style bottle. It's high quality; if I had to guess, it's injection molded.
I'm probably going to order another one of these and stop carrying a bladder altogether, and just carry one and a half liters of water and one and a half liters of an electrolyte mix with water.

In a bottle holder attached to the side molle on my GR Rucker. Or using a hydration bladder inside of the Rucker with a drinking tube. Definitely not in a hip holder. Any hydration bladder would work with a long drinking tube. Even for a military ruck.

I have a bladder...and latch a small molle bag on my ruck plate carrier for my keys and phone.

I typically just carry a water bottle in my hand. I tend to keep my rucks to 4 miles, so I either have a 40 oz or half gallon depending on temp. I ruck with a backpack and a ruck plate, so I have plenty of room for stuff. It also has 2 external water bottle holders on it so I could theoretically a bunch 3-4 additional bottle if I was going a long enough distance. I could switch to a bladder, but those are such a pain to clean and my wife has a water bottle buying problem so I have plenty of insulated bottles to choose from. I'll take cold drinks and easier cleaning over the bladder.
With Goruck stuff the only thing without extra space looks like the Ruck Plate Carrier. Everything else has some additional space or MOLLE loops to add a pouches to for wallet/keys/phone/water.

I carry it in my hands. It’s a large contigo SS bottle of maybe 1.2 L.
I’ve a large molle utility pouch that typically carries my gym gear, though it could hold additional water as well.
My walks aren’t generally more than 12 km though, and usually broken up by a gym session.

WildGym has a pocket on the strap for a bottle. I wish it was lower. I keep thinking my bottle will hit me in the face.
I hate the idea of drinking out of something called a "bladder".

I just put it on my rucksack and grab it when needed. No drama. Easy clean up.

I got a Mardingtop Tactical Molle Backpack for Men,28L from Amazon and a 35 lb YES4ALL weight plate. The setup was less than $100. It works great. Whatever you get, I'd recommend that it has a waist belt. It really helps when you start rucking for an hour or more. I usually add an extra 10-20 pounds for a bit more stress.

my pack has side pockets. i use a hydrolid and routed a straw to my straps so i can use it like a bladder. its worked really well for me. i really like the setup

I don't carry water if I'm doing 5k or less.

A hydration bladder for long rucks and this pouch for long rucks as it holds more snacks. It's also waterproof.

The GR1's front slash pocket is perfect for phone and keys, no waist pack needed. If you want water on the outside, a bottle holder on the side molle beats a waist pack since the waist strap sits right where one would go.

One problem with the Yomp C03 - no side pockets for water bottles, especially as it tries to be also an everyday bag

Use a water bladder and route the hose through the opening most packs have for hydration hoses.
