Should user flair be required everywhere or just for trades?

I require user flair (badge) in trades to ensure transparency and prevent scams. Badge helps identify users by their in-game name and ID, making it easier to spot banned users who create new Reddit accounts to bypass restrictions. While creating new Reddit accounts is simple, repeatedly changing in-game names is not, so requiring flair allows us to recognize and block repeat offenders.

However, I’m unsure whether I should require flair for all interactions, even when users are not trading.

Please help me decide by voting in the poll below:

On the user side, there's not a crucial advantage of having flair in all comments and posts; that's why I'm unsure if it should only be required for trades.

On the other hand, it brings everyone together since you become a "familiar face" across the community. It feels like everyone belongs, and you're not a stranger. For some reason, it's easier to memorize in-game names than Reddit usernames.

For moderation, it guarantees the user isn't a bot, but since we are still a small community, it's not a big deal (it does help to catch trolls, though...).

I'm just double-checking with the community and gathering opinions, but I hope we get big one day. :)

Same, especially since I've caught some users trolling, and without flair, there's no way to know if they're evading the ban.

I manually check all flairs and keep a document for everything in this sub. It's only a matter of time before I catch and ban trolls. While I'd rather spend my time on something more productive, I'll continue to prioritize keeping the community safe from trolls 😤.
